Council of Catholic Women

The Council of Catholic Women of St Paul invites all women of the parish to join. We are not a social group but we enjoy the company of and friendship of many women. We are not primarily a fund raiser group but we are known to have bake sales, tea’s and such. We belong to and are part of the National Council of Catholic Women which was formed at the request of the Bishops of the United States in 1920.

Our mission is to bring all women of the parish together:

  • to support, empower and educate in spirituality, leadership and service.
  • to perform works of charity and to work for the general welfare of the church.
  • to aid and assist St Paul’s Pastor in any manner which he deems necessary.
  • to acknowledge Mary as our role model and to bring all women closer to her Son, thru our patroness, Our Lady of Good Council.

Meetings are held at the parish ordinarily on the first Thursday of the month (excluding summer months) at noon with lunch (most often brown bag). Details will be in the Bulletin or by phone or email.

For questions on membership contact Joan Woodson at (352) 321-4043.
