Cub Scouts

Cub Scouting is a program for boys in grades 1 through 5 and their families. It is the introduction to scouting and to the Boys Scouts of America. The Cub Scouts encourage family unity through family participation. Scouting is a means to develop the character and spiritual growth of the boys. Scouting emphasizes God, country, and self-improvement. It increases each boy’s self-esteem through successful striving to accomplish common goals within a common fellowship. The basic unit of Cub Scouting is the den, which has weekly meeting for the boys. Several dens join together to make up the Pack which meets monthly for the parents and the boys to recognize each boy’s achievements. For information on how to join Pack #213, please contact Robby Stalnaker at (352) 406-3355 or e-mail Thebscout@aol.com.
