Faith Formation for Children

Faith Formation sessions for children, K through 8th grade, are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Families with children in K through 5th grade can choose either Saturday evenings from 5:15 – 6:45 pm or Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 pm (all classes meet in the Family Enrichment Center). Families with youth in 6th – 8th grade can choose Saturday evenings in the Family Enrichment Center or Wednesday evenings in the Holy Family Room from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. High School formation meets on Sundays from 12:15-2:00 pm and Wednesday evenings. Classes are open to all children of the parish, especially those not attending Catholic school.

Catechists Needed

Are you interested in helping with the Faith Formation of our Parish’s youth? Are you willing to make a weekly commitment to serve as a Catechist or Catechist-aide? Catechists are asked to attend several planning sessions during the year and work toward certification by participating in the DCCP sessions (Diocesan Catechist Certification Program). Teens are encouraged to volunteer as aides in the classroom. All Catechists, including teens over the age of 15 years, must be fingerprinted.
