Gifted Hands

In 2013 a new ministry was started at St. Paul’s by Cherlyn Bradley and approved by the Pastor. It is called Gifted Hands and this group of 36 dedicated women have been knitting and crocheting lap blankets and shawls for people in nursing homes and also baby blankets and hats which are distributed to local pregnancy centers. We have lovingly made 815 items for 2015 and we are now working on 2016. All of the yarn that we use is donated or purchased from monetary donations. This is a Wonderful example of ministries working together to help those in need. In the words of Mother Teresa “ We cannot all do great things but we can do small things with love.

We meet every month on the fourth Friday at 1 pm in St. Paul’s Social Hall. We enjoy helping new people learn or teach the art of knitting and crocheting.
