Title: Youth Ministry
St. Paul’s Parish youth ministry groups for all youth in grades 6 through 12. Hope to Offer (H2O)serves teens grades 6 to 8 on Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Cathoholics, serves the high school group on Sunday at 6 PM. We welcome all eligible youth to join us. We meet weekly, dividing our time between study, service and social activities. The study time provides an informal setting that combines formation, reflextion and discussion. Social activities are varied.
Beyond our regular weekly meetings, activities include spiritual, service and extended social outings. Our service projects include both our parish and the local community. Our spiritual activities include youth rallies, retreats, Advent and Lenten services. Extended social outings include theme parks, historic places, concerts and overnight trips. Most recently, we experienced a mission trip in Tampa where we served that local community in a variety of ways.
The fundamental principle of Youth Ministry is to help young people find and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To accomplish that principle the Youth Ministry program practices social, service, spiritual and study concepts that emulate the teachings of Jesus and how they relate to us today.
