Respite care lightens the stress and enhances the quality of life to both the caregiver and care receiver. The Respite Ministry's goals are to provide short-term respite care to help maintain family equilibrium; to provide respite care at no cost to the family; to inform and/or refer a family to additional support services. All Respite volunteers are required by diocesan policy to be fingerprinted and have a background check.
