Religious Education sessions for children age 4 through fifth grade are on Sunday mornings immediately following the 9:00 Mass (September through April). The sessions are open to all children of the parish, especially children who are not attending Catholic School. This ministry requires adults who are willing to make a weekly commitment to serve as a catechist or catechist’s aide. Catechists are asked to attend several planning meetings during the year and work toward certification by participating in the Diocesan Catechist Certification Program. Teens are welcome and encouraged to volunteer as aides.  Please contact the Religious Education office at (352) 787-6354, ext. 238.
