Youth Ministry

St. Paul’s Parish currently has Junior and Senior ministry groups for all youth in grades 6 through 12. We welcome all eligible youth to join us. We meet on a weekly schedule dividing our time between study and social activities. The study time provides an informal setting that combines lecture and discussion utilizing the Bible and other resource materials. Social activities at our weekly meetings include sports, music, games, food and fun.

Beyond our regular weekly meetings, activities include spiritual, service and extended social outings. Our service projects include both our parish and the local community with a strong emphasis on inter-generational involvement. Among others, our spiritual activities are youth rallies, retreats, plays, and Advent and Lenten services. Extended social outings include theme parks, historic places, concerts and overnight trips. Most recently, we experienced a mission trip to Mexico.

The fundamental principle of Youth Ministry is to help young people find and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To accomplish that principle the Youth Ministry program practices social, service, and spiritual and study concepts that emulate the teachings of Jesus and how they relate to us today.
